Marny
Bonner is the co-founder of Australian Seabird Rescue Inc. (ASR), which she and
the late "Pelican Man" Lance Ferris founded in 1993. Marny
has had a life-long interest in wildlife conservation, complemented by an Assoc.
Degree in Applied Science (Southern Cross University) and a Graduate Certificate
in Captive Vertebrate Management (Charles Sturt University). She
is the co-author of "Rescuing the Australian Pelican: a guide to rescue and
rehabitation
of pelicans and seabirds" and "Guide to Husbandry of the Australian Pelican".
Marny
operates a small business from her home and is a member of Southern Cross University's
Animal Care & Ethics Committee. **
