Michelle Thomas
Michelle Thomas runs Animalia wildlife shelter and is a wildlife rehabilitator with over 27 years experience, her love of wildlife started with her mother teaching her to hand raise baby birdsas a child. In 1990 Michelle was given a 65gm ringtail to raise and the rest they say is history, since then Michelle has rescued, raised and rehabilitated everything from flying foxes, microbats, possums, gliders, pelicans, penguins, wombats, wallabies and koalas. Michelle is a cert 4 trainer and assessor and teaches “Respond to wildlife emergencies” amongst other topics for regional trainers across the country. |
